Are you a chicken lover? If yes, then today you will learn some new chicken recipes for iftar. Chicken is a rick source of protein, helps in wear and tear of muscles and creates satiety. Ideally, you should always consume a proportion of protein in every meal to meet the daily caloric intake. So, here are three delicious chicken recipes for iftar:

  1. Chicken Nuggets

Take ½ kg boneless chicken chunks and blend it with one small onion, coriander and two to three green chilies with salt to taste, half teaspoon red chili powder and mince it. Put it inside plastic air tight bag, even it with a ladle to make it look like a smooth square cake and bake it in a microwave oven for 6-minutes. Take it out, drain the water residue, cut it into rectangular pieces. Marinate it with flour, egg and bread crumbs. Freeze for an hour and fry before iftar.

  1. Chicken Mozzarella Rolls, and

Take a medium sized mozzarella cheese and cut it in rectangular pieces just like French fries. Boil boneless chicken, mesh it with some potatoes, add a pinch of salt and chat masala to create a fine batter. Take a small scoop of batter and wrap it around mozzarella bar to make rolls. Marinate it with flour, egg and bread crumbs. Freeze for an hour and fry before iftar.

  1. Bubble Up BBQ Chicken

Take 1lb of boneless skinless chicken breasts and cut into square pieces. Cook it for 10-minutes and let it cool. Take buttermilk biscuits, tear them into pieces and set aside.  Place chicken chunks in a bowl, pour BBQ sauce and stir. Add biscuits and toss gently. Spread evenly and sprinkle cheese on it. Bake 25 to 30 minutes in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees with cooking spray greased beforehand. Enjoy!
