KARACHI: Saudi Consal general Mohammad Abdullah Abdul Daim held a meeting with Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah at Chief Minister House in Karachi on Thursday.

Murad Ali Shah raised an issue, in the meeting, of stranded Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia with the Saudi diplomat.

Saudi Consul General assured Sindh CM that the matter will soon be resolved.

Chief Minister also added that Saudi Arabia has a vital role in the development of economy in Sindh.

Saudi diplomat said that the government of the country has formed a committee which is looking into the matter of Pakistani expatriates in the kingdom.

The Consul General Saudi Arabia Muhammad AbdullahDaim while talking on the occasion said that it was his prime duty to further improve the bilateral and trade relations with Pakistan and Sindh province. He said that, since work visa requires long procedure to issue as such people are feeling problem but as such there was nothing else to hold it. However he maintained that the system is being upgraded now to resolve all problems of the people intending to visit Saudi Arabia.

He said that he will try his best to introduce the Chamber of Commerce & Industries of his country with its counterpart here at Sindh, to increase the volume of trade & Business between both sides. Lauding the efforts of Sindh Government for controlling law & order in Karachi the Consul General observed that this will further boost up the investment activities in Karachi.
