Although it is rich with essential nutrients that helps you control your cholesterol levels but when it is heated, it gives out fumes that are dangerous for your lungs. Deep frying with olive oil multiple times is hazardous for your health. In contrast to organic olive oil, virgin olive oil works best- it is less harmful. If you cook food in low flame, it is not harmful. Olive Oil is rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants. Olive Oil has monounsaturated fat whereas Canola or vegetable oil has poly-unsaturated fatty acids that is why experts prefer Olive Oil over vegetable oil.

Of course, it is a good idea to use Olive Oil over Vegetable oil but if you have a choice between Organic Olive Oil and Virgin Olive Oil, go for Virgin Olive Oil.
