SUNDAY TIMES WEB DESK:Pakistan’s former Test cricketer and renowned cricket commentator Ramiz Raja thinks that Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali should have been included in the 15-man squad for the World Cup, slated to start from May 30 in England and Wales.
Ramiz reacted on Pakistan’s World Cup squad which was announced on Thursday and said that keeping Amir and Asif as reserved players for World Cup is not a good choice by the team management.
“Pakistan team for WC 2019 & England tour covers most bases. A squad of 17 with Amir & Asif as two outside the announced WC Squad. Both will be on trial. Is that good, not sure cos I would have picked both for WC,” he tweeted.
