SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI: According to the Rangers spokesperson, the raids were conducted in areas of New Karachi and Gulistan-e-Jauhar on a tip-off and two suspects involved in dacoities and street crimes were apprehended.

The arrested suspects were identified as Farhan Hussain alias ‘Kala’ and Muhammad Furqan alias ‘Dabay’.

“Both the suspects were wanted in a dacoity in New Karachi on April 1st”, the Rangers spokesperson said.

Later, the aforesaid accused were handed over to the local police for further probe against them.

In a separate action, last week, the paramilitary forces had arrested seven suspects involved in robberies and street crimes.

The suspects were arrested during raids in Gadap and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, said the spokesperson of Sindh Rangers.
