Murree: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Friday led an important meeting in Murree which lasted for seven hours here on Friday.
The meeting was attended by important governmental ministers. It was decided in the meeting that the Prime Minister shall himself overlook the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project along with other energy projects.
The performance of the federal ministers and the developmental agenda of the government for the coming 22 months were looked upon during the meeting. Sources indicated that the PM directed that the CPEC and other energy projects be completed on priority basis whereas he also ordered to ensure transparency in the projects.
PM himself viewed upon the performance of the ministers and expressed his satisfaction over the performance displayed by the government during the past three years.
PM Nawaz directed that the pace at which the projects were being completed be increased in order to make sure that the projects get completed in time.
