SIALKOT: Indian forces once again opened unprovoked firing along the border and violated LoC, however there were no casualties.
India forces resorted to firing after midnight near Iftikharabad sector. Pakistan forces responded the firing and forced Indian gun to fall silent.
During the last few days India has violated LoC by firing along different sectors.
On October 1st, Indian border forces opened fire targeting civilian population at Chamb sector of LoC. Indian border forces also fired mortar shells at the civilian population.
Relation between Pakistan and India has been in a bad situation since India accused Pakistan for attacking Indian military base in Uri sector of the Occupied Kashmir. Seventeen soldiers of India were killed in the attack.
The Indian Director General of Military Operations, after the cross border firing, claimed that the country’s forces carried out surgical strikes in Pakistan.
A total of 15 Indian military men were captured by Pakistan Army and six were killed who were trying to invade into Pakistani territory.
