SUNDAY TIMES LAHORE:Chairing a high-level meeting at Circuit House Multan, CM Buzdar said that the chapter of unfair distribution of development funds had been closed and added that the his government was focusing on less privileged areas of the province.
He said that DG Khan waste management company had been approved and announced to link Layyah-Taunsa bridge with Shorkot Interchange. The chief minister said that 533 vacant post in border military police would be filled soon.
Giving dead line to the concerned authorities, the chief minister said that Muzaffargarh-DG Khan road should be completed by March 31.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on March 13, had directed to expedite the construction of houses under Naya Pakistan Housing project.
These directives were issued by Buzdar while chairing a meeting in Lahore, to review the performance of Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency.
The meeting was attended by officials concerned, who briefed the provincial chief executive about the so far progress made into the project.
