SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI: According to sources, the PPP chairman in his message on the occasion of 40th death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, said that the people of Pakistan would have to come forward for the supremacy of the parliament and protection of the constitution and the law.
PPP chairman said that a presidential reference signed by the former President Asif Ali Zardari to the court (with regard to Bhutto case) being treated with slackness. Despite repeated reminders the justice yet to done, he said.
He said after the founder of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah the role and contribution of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in nation building is second to none.
Bilwal said that Bhutto’s politics and thought unleashed a revolution in public awareness.
He said that despite his death 40 years ago Bhutto is alive in the hearts and minds of the people.
Bilawal added Bhutto’s immense contributions towards politics, diplomatic, economic and international affairs are praiseworthy and thought-provoking.
The 40th death anniversary of founder of Pakistan People’’s Party (PPP) and former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is being observed today.
The Sindh Government has announced public holiday in the province.
The central gathering of the PPP being held in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto in district Larkana of Sindh, today.
More than 7,000 policemen have been deployed in Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero for security of the main event of the day.
Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and other leaders will address the gathering.
