Islamabad: Three-day mourning has been announced in Balochistan over Quetta bomb blast.
President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have strongly condemned the blast at civil hospital.
The Prime Minister has directed the concerned authorities to maintain utmost vigilance and beef up security for the legal fraternity and members of civil society.
Sharif said no one will be allowed to disturb peace in the province that has been restored due to countless sacrifices of security forces, police and the people of Balochistan.
The President and the Prime Minister directed for provision of best treatment to those injured in the attack. They prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and strength to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah, Chief Minister Balochistan, Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Minister and Governor Gilgit-Baltistan have also condemned the Quetta blast.
Condemning the terrorist attack, Awami National Party Chief Asfandyar Wali called for collective efforts to eliminate terrorism.
Chairman and Deputy Chairman Senate expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
Condemning the terrorist attack, Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad said the whole nation is united against terrorism and Operation Zarb-e-Azb has broken the back of terrorists.
