Karachi: Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Murad Ali Shah has warned if the garbage is not lifted within 48 hours from Karachi then the concerned officer of all district municipal corporations will go home.
While chairing a meeting regarding the cleanliness situation in Karachi at New Sindh Secretariat Karachi, the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that he has given an ultimatum of 48 hours to the administrations of all district municipal corporations for ensuring cleanliness and lifting garbage.
He held that the police will be responsible if garbage is dumped in the grounds of Malir Nadi and Qayyumabad.
“I believe in the work more than talks and I want results not briefings”, the chief minister said.
Shah said that complaints are being received regarding the poor sanitation situation in Karachi and garbage is being thrown in open fields. I will not allow anyone to do so, he warned.
