DUBLIN: Rain delayed toss for the second and last ODI between Pakistan and Ireland scheduled today at the Village Stadium.
Pakistan won the first ODI of the series in what was their biggest One-day International victory in terms of runs.
Sharjeel Khan’s sizzling 152 and Imad Wasim’s maiden five-wicket haul on Thursday helped Pakistan win the match.
Imad bowled out the home team for a paltry 82 after Pakistan had posted 337 in a match that was reduced to 47 overs because of wet conditions.
Alongside Imad, another young all-rounder – Mohammad Nawaz – also sparkled in Thursday’s win against Ireland. Nawaz, also a left-hander, hit 53 off 50 balls to make his presence felt.
