SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI:The train march arrived at Nawabshah railway station in wee hours on Wednesday after making a stopover at different stations, including Hyderabad railway station, after it began its journey from Karachi.

The march is expected to resume its journey from Nawabshah railway station at 10:00 today.

Addressing a large and charged crowd at different stations, Mr Bhutto Zardari criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

Addressing at Hyderabad railway station, the PPP chairman slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan for taking U-turns and said his Bilawal mother embraced martyrdom but never took  U-turn on her principles.

He said the incumbent government dreaded the thinking and philosophy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

The two-day train march began from Karachi Cantonment Railway Station at 11:30am on Tuesday and will reach Larkana on Thursday after completing 48 hours journey.

Addressing party workers at the Karachi Cantt Station before his departure, the PPP chief had said the train journey would strengthen democracy. He said the government was using the law which was introduced by dictator Pervaiz Musharraf for arm-twisting of political opponents.
