NEW YORK: Hassan Rouhani, Iranian President, said that terrorists are spreading extremism in the name of religion.
Iranian President was addressing the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
“The terrorists are using religious education as a mode to fulfill their objectives,” Rouhani said.
Rouhani said that the world with their joint efforts can end terrorism once it for all. He added that the incident of 9/11 caused a lot of problems for Middle East region.
Iranian President said that the whole world became fearful after 9/11 incident. He said that one region cannot be made secure by putting other regions at state.
