ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday extended the deadline for taxpayers to file their returns to November 15 from the deadline of October 31, said a statement.
“In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, The Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to extend the date of filing of Returns/Statements for the Tax year 2016”, the FBR statement reads.
The statement further said that the date, which was earlier due on August 31 and up to October 31, is further extended till November 15, 2016.
