ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started probe into alleged kidnapping of children and smuggling of their body parts.
The FIA said in a statement that investigation has been launched into the pictures that circulated on social media where human body parts were shown in a package.
FIA Director Mazhar Kakakhel has appealed to the public to contact the FIA if they have credible information regarding the smuggled body parts.
The FIA said that a gang has been involved in kidnapping and smuggling of children in Punjab. The FIA claimed that several members of the gang have been apprehended in several cities across the province while raids were under way to arrest the ring leader of the gang.
