According to details, the governor was speaking to media after inaugurating the training camp for wheelchair bound cricket team.

While announcing the monetary award, he expressed hopes that the wheelchair cricket team will come back as winners from the Asia Cup.

Few days earlier, a video was doing rounds on the social media showing leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Pervez Elhai alleging that Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar is not letting Chief Minister Usman Buzdar exercise his constitutional powers freely.

PML-Q leaders Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Federal Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema were seen to be moaning about Chaudhry Sarwar to PTI’s former secretary general Jahangir Tareen at the former’s residence. They were heard saying in the video that Sarwar was not letting Buzdar do his job.

However, later, playing down any differences with Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid in the province, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s coalition partners are like a family, hence anyone shouldn’t make a mountain out of a molehill.

Talking to media in Lahore, Mr. Sarwar said: “We will listen to any reservation that our allies want to convey.”

He asserted that he had old family terms with Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, who is now Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
