Islamabad: Parade ground station of Metro Bus Service located in Blue area Islamabad has been rehabilitated and restored after three months.
This bus terminal had gone dysfunctional being ransacked during the protest demonstrations staged on the occasion of Chehlum of Mumtaz Qadri. This station was excluded from metro bus operation due to heavy damage caused to it during the protest rallies and metro bus passed without stopping on this station. It has been made now operational again following its repair and renovation at the cost of Rs 120 million.
RDA chief engineer Athar Hussain Bokhari said that rain water leakage has been completed plugged every where in the station.
