SUNDAY TIMES LAHORE:Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Uzma Zahid Bukhari submitted the resolution, demanding action against proscribed outfits across the province without any discrimination. She further demanded that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government also take action against facilitators of banned organizations.
The PML-N lawmaker stressed the need for implementing the National Action Plan in letter and spirit.
In a statement of late, Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi had said the renewed campaign against proscribed organisations will continue until the intended objectives are not achieved.
“Operation against proscribed organisations as per National Action Plan 2014 (NAP) shall continue till achievement of objectives,” he tweeted.
He said that the PTI government was pursuing efforts to accelerate progress on the NAP.
