Pokemon Go is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic for mobile Android and iOS devices. The game was initially released in selected countries and became an instant hit.
Many loved the concept as it ensured more mobility for enthusiasts. The game lets players compete with other Pokemon Go players which has kept the game topping the popularity charts.
Before the app was available in Pakistan, Pakistanis had found ways to participate in the worldwide craze.
iPhone users used friends’, cousins’ or someone’s US iTunes account or changed the region of their store to the US to download the app as it’s free.
Android users downloaded the app through an app called APK that let them download the Pokemon Go app.
