SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI: SSP East Azfar Mahesar said the suspect identified as Shayan alias Shan was arrested after an encounter with the police personnel while his two accomplices managed to flee the scene. Arms were seized from his possession, he added.
He said the held suspect was involved in various crimes, including robberies, extortion, and target killing.
Mahesar said the suspected criminal had killed a citizen within the jurisdiction of PIB Colony police station in 2013, adding that he was also involved in extorting money from traders.
