SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI: According to police, the case has been registered at Darakshan police station against five suspects under sections 302 and 324 of the Pakistan Penal Code read with Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The firing incident took place at Street No. 26, Phase VI, in Khayaban-e-Bukhari late on Saturday night. 35-year-old police constable identified as Khalid Mehmood and a passer-by, namely Ramzan, were gunned down and another passer-by Saeed Ahmed was injured the firing incident.
The deceased cop was posted at the Darakshan police station. He was shot dead when he was on intelligence duty.
