A fit body can help to achieve all of your goals in life. During Ramadan, you can opt for 10- minute home exercises to stay in shape. Do you have ten-minutes to get fit from home? If yes, then try these exercises:

  1. Chair Dips

Maintain a sitting posture in front of a chair while resting hands back on the chair. Slide your bottom off the edge while bending elbows at 90 degrees. Maintain your back close to the chair and then push back. Repeat 10-15 times.

  1. Chair Squats

Stand in front of the chair, toes forward, feet hip-distance apart, chest slightly forward lean. Now, Bend your knees, tap bottom on chair (don’t sit) and then stand up! Maintain weight in your heels and keep knees over toes. Repeat 10x.

  1. Lunges

Align your knees, place front knee over your shoe and point back knee downwards. Do not lean too far forward or backward rounding your spine while maintaining the whole posture forward. Instead of forcing weight into your kneecaps use them as a pivot while engaging quads, hamstrings and glutes.

You can also use staircase as a tool to stay active. You can choose to quickly use the staircase as a cardio workout. Cardio workouts improve heart’s health and longevity.
