SUNDAY TIMES KARACHI:The Supreme Court on Oct 27 ordered to remove illegally built structures in the metropolis.
In this regard, the KMC has chalked out a plan to raze as many as 1,995 shops in the city and has also served notices to the said shopkeepers.
According to a report submitted in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, 703 shops will be demolished in the area of city’s Lee Market.
447 shops in Jubilee Cloth Market, 148 shops in Bahauddin Shah Market, 137 shops in Madina Cloth Market will be razed.
